What Dysport for crow’s feet treats

  • Lines at the outer corners of the eyes
  • Lines that fan out when you smile or squint

How Dysport for crow’s feet works

Crow’s feet fan out from the corners of the eyes when you smile. They come from the ring of muscle around the eye. A few small injections on each side soften them while your smile still reaches your eyes.

How many units of Dysport for crow’s feet?

Usually about 30 units on each side, 60 in total. The $200 price covers both sides with the full dose.

Is Dysport approved for this?

Dysport is FDA-approved for frown lines. Using it here is off-label, which is common practice for this area. Your injector explains this at your consultation.

How the appointment goes

At your first visit we go through your medical history and look at your face at rest and while you move it. If you want treatment the same day, we clean the skin, offer ice, and place a few small injections. It takes minutes. You book a check at two weeks before you leave.

Risks, and who should not have it

Do not have Dysport if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, are allergic to cow’s milk protein, have a neuromuscular condition such as myasthenia gravis or ALS, or have an infection where you would be treated.

To limit bruising, avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E and alcohol for 3 to 5 days before, unless a doctor has told you to take them.

Questions people ask

Why one price per area instead of per unit?

So the price does not decide the dose. Your injector uses the dose the area needs, and the price for the area stays the same.
